90 minutes for Atal and Hassen and half an hour for Sarr

On Tuesday evening, three Aiglons took part in international fixtures: Youcef Atal, Mouez Hassen and Malang Sarr.

In preparation for the the Africa Cup of Nations (which kicks off on 21 June), Atal’s Algeria played a friendly against Burundi. Le Gym’s surprise package last season played the full 90 minutes. Despite taking the lead thanks to a goal from Bounedjah, Les Fennecs were pegged back at the end of the game (1-1).

Malang Sarr featured for thirty minutes in a friendly for the France U21s against Austria. Les Bleuets fell to defeat (1-3). The finals of the Euros U21s Championships will take place in Italy and San Marino from 16 until 30 June.

Bassem Srarfi stayed on the bench during Tunisia’s victory over Croatia (2-1). A match that Mouez Hassen played in full.

The two Aiglons have now officially been called up for the ACN for the Eagles of Carthage, as announced by the coach in the hours that followed the win over Croatia.
