Saint-Étienne - Nice

Two Niçois and three Stéphanois suspended this weekend
Two key members of the OGC Nice squad and three senior figures from the AS Saint-Étienne team will miss this weekend’s historic encounter (kick-off on Saturday 18 May at 9pm).
Just as in the two sides’ first meeting this season (1-1), ASSE will be without Wahbi Khazri and Rémi Cabella. The top scorer and player with the most assists for Les Verts this season (13 goals and seven assists) is suspended after accumulating several yellow cards. The former Marseille man (8 goals, 4 assists) was sent off during the defeat against Montpellier (0-1) last week. Finally, Jean-Louis Gasset will have to go without Mathieu Debuchy against Le Gym. The defender was given a one match ban after picking up three yellow cards in his last ten matches.
As a reminder, Dante and Christophe Herelle will also miss out on Week 37 of Ligue 1, for the same reason as Khazri and Debuchy.
9 of the last 10 goals scored by St Etienne players in Ligue 1 were either scored or assisted by one of the three Stéphanois that are suspended for this match (Khazri, Debuchy, Cabella).
