Brazao scores, and the Portuguese qualify for the Euros

The international break went well for Pedro Brazao, who qualified for the finals of the upcoming Euro U17s. 

Called up to the Portugal side, the young Aiglon (16 years old), played in the Elite Round of Euro U17. Coming on in the 66th minute in the Seleção’s first win (2-0 over Scotland on 20 March), the Niçois proved decisive three days later during the victory over Poland (2-1), when he opened the scoring in the 10th minute. He then, spent the final game against Russia on the bench, in which Emilio Peixe’s side also ensured a victory.

Thanks to this successful set of matches, the Portuguese youth side have secured their ticket for the finals of the Euros in their age group. A tournament that will take place from 3-19 May in the Republic of Ireland.
