Second half of the season

The fixture list broken down

The Gym mark their return to Ligue 1 Conforama on Saturday (8pm) as they welcome Bordeaux. The starting point for the second half of the Aiglons’ season.

It will get underway with a game against Bordeaux at home. Another key attraction of the start of the calendar year is the derby in Monaco, which will take place on 16 January (match postponed, Week 17). After welcoming Nîmes (Week 22), Patrick Vieira’s side face a frightening trip to Lille to kick off the month of February.

2 consecutive away matches in February

One of the main highlights of the fixture list will take place on 9 February with the game at the Allianz Riviera against Olympique Lyonnais. A stadium that the Aiglons won’t return to until the 2 March, given that Matchdays 25 and 26 will be played away from home. Against Angers and then Amiens respectively.

The month of March will be marked by a trip to Marseille on the weekend of 9 March (Week 28), then with the visit of Toulouse the week after.

April 2019 will see the Gym host three teams, Montpellier (Week 31), Caen (Week 33) and Guingamp (Week 34).

May will be tough

A tough month of May will bring the season to a close, with a trip to the capital to face PSG. This will be followed by a match against Nantes, before a feisty trip to the Geoffroy-Guichard, the home of AS Saint-Etienne (Week 36 and Week 37). The season will come to an end on the turf of the Allianz with the derby of the Côte d'Azur.
