Dante analysed the derby live on beIN Sports after the game. The capitain emphasised the performance of the side and the numerous chances they created.

“We dominated most of the game. We prepared well for it and we almost did all that we needed to. We were just missing that goal. They had next to nothing all game, and it was their only shot that got them the goal at the wrong moment.

After the opener, it wasn’t easy against this talented side. But we continued to try to create, and we made some chances and some half chances. Not everything is negative.

It’s a shame. You need to understand that sometimes it isn’t enough to play well. We need to be more accurate and to continue to be convinced that we are able to do well. We will need to make up for that.

The results aren’t what we would be looking for but there is no need to worry. 

We are all very disappointed because it was an important match for us, for the club, and for the fans.”
