Nice - Marseille (D-7)

1 day - 1 image: When Fae got the Ray rocking...

Ahead of the 51st edition of Nice - Marseille in the history of the top flight (Week 10 of L1, on Sunday at 9pm), OGCNICE.com offers you the opportunity to dive back through the Mediterranean derbies of yesteryear, with 7 particularly historic moments.

The first of them dates back to 5 December 2010. On that Sunday, Emerse Fae secured the victory for the Gym, hitting the back of the net of Didier Deschamps’ side at the end of added time (92'). Although everybody remembers to final touch from the current Nice U19s boss, you can’t forget the work of Chaouki Ben Saada, before the all important cross from Antony Mounier.

In the heavy rain, the Aiglons took home the victory in the final derby to be held at the Ray (1-0). Like a ray of sunshine during a season in which they finished in 17th place, with just two points over AS Monaco, who were relegated to the tier below.
