The international programme

The international break has begun for the Aiglons. Here is a full run down on what awaits the members of the squad who have been called up by their national sides.

Youcef Atal, Algeria

Consistent and fit, Youcef Atal marks his return to the Algerian squad this month. The Fennecs will face Benin on two occasions, as part of the qualifiers for the ACN 2019. The first leg will take place at home on Friday 12 October (kick-off at 8.45 in Blida), the second takes place in Benin on Tuesday 16 (kick-off at 4pm in Cotonou).

Bassem Srarfi, Tunisia

In the same way as his teammate from the right wing, Bassem Srarfi will also feature in the qualifiers of the Africa Cup of Nations. The playmaker has joined up with his fellow countrymen and will face a double header against Niger (on 13 October in Tunis and 16 in Niamey).

Racine Coly, Senegal

After a last minute call up, Racine Coly flew off to Senegal. Aliou Cissé decided to call upon the left back for a double header against Sudan (Saturday 13 in Dakar and Tuesday 16 in Khartoum).

Allan Saint-Maximin, France (Youth)

Allan Saint-Maximin has joined up with the French youth team. Having already qualified for Euro 2019, the Bleuets will face Turkey in a friendly (on 12 October); before facing Slovenia (16 October, Euro qualifiers).

Malang Sarr, France (U20)

Called up by Bernard Diomède, Malang Sarr will once again wear the France U20 shirt, as they travel to Serbia for two friendlies: the first against FC Cukaricki, at the Centre des Sports de Stara Pazova (13 October - 6pm); and the second against Serbia B (15 October – 3pm). The FFF left Myziane at home with the Gym during this international break, so that the forward can recover from some physical niggles.

Assil Jaziri, Tunisia (U23)

It’s off to the Tunisian Olympic side (U23) for Assil Jaziri. A fixture to prepare for the qualifiers of the ACN U23 (they are also qualifiers for the 2020 Olympic Games), awaits the attacking midfielder and his teammates; against Italy, on 15 October in Vicenza.
