The Gym, 6th youngest in Europe

According to a study published on Monday by the Football Observatory (CIES), the Gym has fielded the sixth youngest team in Europe since the start of the season.  

Amongst the five biggest leagues in the continent (England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France), only 5 teams have played  "younger sides" than OGC Nice: Fiorentina, Mayence and Leipzig, as well as Nîmes and Lille.

During the first 8 games of the season, Patrick Vieira’s side had an average age of 24.58 years. The youngest member of the squad to have worn the red and black shirt is Lamine Diaby-Fadiga. The forward was 17 years and 204 days old during the Nice - Reims game on 11 August (17 years younger than Dante. The eldest member of the squad will celebrate his 35th birthday on 18 October.
