Myziane Maolida

The President’s clarifications on the deal with OL

On Tuesday, Jean-Pierre Rivère spoke to the media, alongside Patrick Vieira at Myziane Maolida’s presentation.

“Very happy to welcome” a forward with “huge potential, like all of the recruits the club has made until now”, the Gym’s President revealed that the first discussions with Jean-Michel Aulas “took place in Istra”, the French national side’s base camp during the World Cup in Russia.

Without entering into detail about the figures, he then confirmed that Myziane Maolida’s transfer “is one of the biggest in the club’s history, alongside the deal for Saint-Maximin”, and made the most of the opportunity to praise “the very good relationships between OGC Nice and Lyon.”

The President concluded by clarifying the nature of the “win-win deal” struck with OL, who will receive “30% of any profit made in the sale of Myziane Maolida”, when he moves on from the capital of the Côte d’Azur. “But that won’t be any time soon”, he added.
