Niçois since 2015, Maxime Le Marchand has signed for London based club, Fulham FC. The defender will join Mika Seri at Craven Cottage.

Recruited from Le Havre, Maxime made his first steps in Ligue 1 with OGC Nice, where it didn’t take long for him to make his mark. In a full season, the elegant defender contributed to the return of the Gym onto the European scene. Unfortunately, he was unable to get a taste of it in the following season*, due to an injury (torn cruciate ligament) picked up during the “final” for 4th place against Saint-Étienne. 

The following season, he was, however an important part of the side that reached the Round of 32 of the Europa League. 

After 81 matches in the Nice shirt (2 goals, 3 assists), the left footed player is now preparing to experience his first taste of foreign football, over in the Premier League,
