On Monday, after passing his medical, Christophe Hérelle signed his contract with the Gym. At almost 26 years old (his birthday is on 22 August), the defender who came through the ranks at Sochaux, before playing for Colmar, Créteil-Lusitanos and Troyes, will now wear the colours of the city of his birth.  

After Danilo Barbosa, OGC Nice has now secured its second signing of Summer 2018. Powerful, technical and with a good margin for progression, Hérelle passed his medical with flying colours. At the same time, he was able to familiarise himself with his new surroundings, by visiting the training ground, meeting the club staff and speaking with Patrick Vieira, his new coach.

The former Troyen will take part in his first training session with Nice on Monday 2 July, the date the Aiglons will return to training.
