After signing his first professional contract on May 9, 2025, at the age of 16, Djibril Coulibaly had quite a 2025–26 season. A starter in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Benfica early in the season (0-2), the homegrown midfielder also started in the French Cup final against Lens (1-3) in May... He even made history by becoming, at 17 years and 185 days old, the youngest starter and then goal-scorer in the competition in the 21st century.

A week after making his debut at the Stade de France, he delivered another rock-solid performance in midfield, starting the second leg of the playoff that ended in a 4-1 victory over Saint-Étienne. And in the process, he made his seventh professional appearance.

A standout from the red-and-black academy, Djibril also played a key role in the club’s U18 team’s run in the Coupe Gambardella, which ended in the quarterfinals against Montpellier (1-3).
