OGC Nice announced the signing of Charles Vanhoutte on September 1, 2025. The midfielder joined the club from Union Saint-Gilloise, where he regularly served as captain and helped the team win a Belgian Cup (2024) and a league title (2025).

After earning a call-up to the Belgian national team shortly after arriving in Nice, the midfielder made a successful debut in Ligue 1, being named “Aiglon” of the match in his first game in France, against Nantes (a 1-0 victory on September 13).

He appeared in 38 matches across all competitions and scored one goal in the Europa League against Go Ahead Eagles (a 3-1 victory).

After one season with Nice, he transferred to Feyenoord Rotterdam on June 19, 2026.
