Biography

Jonathan Clauss arrived at OGC Nice in the summer of 2024, in the wake of the Euro, where he was selected with Les Bleus. A confirmed international, the piston was reunited with Franck Haise, who had revealed him to Lens. 

During his first season, the number 92 displayed all his qualities. Speed, accuracy, activity, footwork: in 38 games, he scored 3 goals and provided 9 assists (8 in L1).

Despite another difficult season for the team as a whole, Jo’ Clauss maintained his usual high individual standards. Serving as captain on numerous occasions, he recorded 11 assists and scored 2 goals, one of which was crucial, as it allowed the Gym to open the scoring against Saint-Étienne in the second leg of the relegation playoff to stay in Ligue 1 (a 4-1 victory).
