Born in Seine-Saint-Denis, Mohamed-Ali Cho spent his youth between France and England, first in the amateur section of PSG, then at Everton's training center, before turning professional in May 2020 with Angers.

His first steps in Ligue 1 left a lasting impression. A precocious talent, launched among the elite at the age of 16, he went on to really shine the following season, still playing for Angers (32 games, 4 goals). After taking the plunge and moving abroad to Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022, Mohamed-Ali Cho returned to the French league in the winter of 2024, signing for Nice. In his first half-season in the county, the French Espoirs international confirmed the hopes placed in him, showing a fine rise to prominence. To his credit: 20 games played, 4 assists and 2 goals (1 at Montpellier in the Coupe de France and 1 at home to PSG).

Under Franck Haise, “Momo” Cho has gone from strength to strength, playing in one match after another and being used in all three attacking positions. His record in 2024-25: 35 games, 5 goals and 4 assists.

In 2025–26, amid a difficult season for the team, he played in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring 5 goals and recording 5 assists.
