Biography

Moïse Bombito signed for OGC Nice on August 19, 2024. A first experience in Europe for the Canadian international, who arrived in the world's most beautiful city on the heels of a successful Copa America with his national team (beaten in the semi-finals by Argentina). 

America's fastest defender quickly adapted to a new context. In his first season in the county, he played 35 games (all competitions combined), including 33 as a starter. All the while, he remained a fixture in Canada, joining the team for every international break except the one in June.

Unfortunately, Moïse had a difficult 2025–26 season, as he suffered a fracture of his left tibia in the derby against Monaco on October 5. He worked hard for months to return to the field. He finally made his comeback with Canada, which selected him for the World Cup, and he returned to official competition with the team against Qatar on the second matchday of the group stage on June 19, 2026 (a 6-0 victory).
