Young French soccer hopeful Amidou Doumbouya has signed for Le Gym in the summer of 2023 from FC Sochaux. A left-handed defender with great potential, Amidou Doumbouya, a member of the French U18 team, is now playing with the pro squad.

His big break came on February 7, 2024, when Le Gym won the French Cup Round of 8 at Montpellier. He made his L1 debut in the 2024-25 season, coming on as a substitute for Lyon on December 1, 2024.
