Biography

Born in Amsterdam, Pablo Rosario joined the prestigious Ajax youth academy before moving to second division side Almere where he made his senior debut in the 2015/16 season. He was transferred to PSV Eindhoven where he went from the reserve team to become first-team captain, playing 138 competitive games (5 goals, 11 assists) and winning the 2017/18 Dutch title. He also made his Netherlands debut that season. A solid, robust defensive midfielder (1.88m), he followed compatriots Calvin Stengs and Justin Kluivert in joining Nice in July 2021. He made his first appearance for the club in the pre-season friendly against AC Milan on 31 July, and was named Aiglon of the Match on his Ligue 1 debut in the opening game of the season against Reims.
After a first season in which he played 37 games, the Dutchman confirmed his place in the 2022-2023 squad. The team-centred midfielder shone with his versatility, playing as a box to box midfielder, a number six, a central defender and even at right-back, and completed a full season with 39 appearances in all competitions.
He maintained the same consistency in the 2023-24 season. A key member of the squad, he played 34 games. Always good and always solid, Pablo passed the 100-match mark in the red-and-black jersey during the season, and set the bar even higher when Franck Haise took his place on the bench.
In 2024-25, “Pablito” played 35 games and scored his first 4 goals for Le Gym. At the end of the season, he joined the Dominican national team, with whom he took part in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the Gold Cup.
