Ursea: "Cardi' will start the match"

On the eve of the match between Hapoël Beer-Sheva and OGC Nice in the Europa League (Matchday 6, 18:55 CET), Adrian Ursea spoke at a press conference. Faced by the microphones, the Gym coach announced that Yoan Cardinale will line up in goal in Israel tomorrow.

"I can confirm that Cardi' will start the match." Sat next to the goalkeeper in the press conference, Adrian Ursea announced that Yoan Cardinale will start in Israel tomorrow: "Everything was vey clear with the number one goalkeeper (Walter Benitez). I've known Cardi' for a long time and I think that if we don't play players such as him in these matches, then that means we're not on the right road."

The coach, who will in Tel Aviv enjoy his second match on the rouge et noir bench, explained his decision in greater detail: "What matters is recreating confidence. We need to make the most of every opportunity to give game time to the players, and it's a very good thing. A team is not just about 11 starters, it's about the whole squad. I'm sure that Cardi' will fulfil his role to perfection tomorrow," in what will be the goalkeeper's 14th European match for Gym.
