Todibo returns to the French National Team

Jean-Clair Todibo is back in the French national team. Le Gym's vice-captain, who delivered a very solid performance and picked up his first career assist against Strasbourg (2-0), has been called up by Didier Deschamps following Ibrahima Konaté's withdrawal.

Previously called up in March, the central defender will join the French squad on Monday. "I am very happy to once again have the opportunity to represent the French national team, and I will give my all, as always," said the player. "I received a phone call after the match, and I was very pleased. A win and a call-up, both coming together, is great. And I am very proud to be called up as a Nice player."

The French national team will have two matches on their schedule: hosting the Republic of Ireland at Parc des Princes (this Thursday) as part of the Euro 2024 qualifications, followed by a friendly in Germany (Tuesday, September 12).

Francesco Farioli congratulated JC in his press conference, and following their coach's lead, the entire club is proud of our number 6's return to the French squad.
