Medical update ahead of Troyes v. Nice

Didier Digard gave an update on his squad with 48 hours to go until the trip to Troyes on Matchday 33 of Ligue 1 (kick-off at 15:00 CET on Sunday).

As they continue to work their way back to full fitness, Mattia Viti (adductor muscle injury), Alexis Beka Beka (thigh injury) and Sofiane Diop (knee sprain) will not be available for the trip to the Stade de l’Aube. “We hope to have them back in the squad over the course of next week,” said the OGC Nice manager, who also explained that Le Gym’s no. 10 was continuing his rehabilitation programme today, after taking part in his first session back with the squad yesterday.

Three other players are also on the treatment table: Nicolas Pepe (knee tendinitis), Youssouf Ndayishimiye (knee sprain) and Joe Bryan (ankle sprain). “For them, it’ll be a longer wait,” Digard commented in his pre-match press conference.
