Already 10 scorers

In attack, whilst waiting for their individual forwards to find their feet, the Gym has been able to rely on the squad to make up ground. Since the start of the season, the 10 goals scored in Ligue 1 have been scored by 8 different players (Atal, Jallet, Lees-Melou, Srarfi, Cyprien, Makengo, Saint-Maximin, Ganago). Last year, as a comparison, 10 Nice players found the back of the net in L1 (over the whole season).

Allan Saint-Maximin is the only Aiglon to have scored more than one goal in the league in 2018-19 (2), whilst Amiens’ Gouano scored an own goal at the Allianz Riviera (1-0). Rémi Walter (a brace) and Myziane Maolida both scored in the Coupe de la Ligue against Auxerre (3-2).
