World Cup 2018

Hugo Lloris and Les Bleus on top of the world

Less than 13 years after making his professional debut for OGC Nice, Hugo Lloris lifted the greatest of trophies on Sunday.

With his teammates, the captain of Les Bleus (31 years old) won the World Cup after beating Croatia (4-2), in what was the goalkeeper’s 104th cap.

Hugely influential in his side’s progress through the tournament, the stopper born in Nice who since 2012, has plied his trade at Tottenham, allowed France to earn a second star, 20 years after the generation of Patrick Vieira.

It’s with huge pride that OGC Nice congratulates its “pichoun“, as well as his teammates.
