Return to training

On Monday, everything starts (again)

Things are getting back underway for the Aiglons! On Monday, five weeks of pre-season will begin in Nice. With the focus being on the first game of L1 against Reims, at the Allianz Riviera, on the weekend of 11 August.

Return to training open to the public

For the first time, OGC Nice will start pre-season at the new training complex. Patrick Vieira, who arrived this summer from New York City FC, will be at the helm, flanked by his new staff. A big week awaits an enlarged squad, featuring several players who have been brought through the academy (Vicenzo Bezzina, Andy Pelmard, Jawad Drame, Yanis Hamache, Eddy Sylvestre and Lamine Diaby-Fadiga).

During the first week, the group will alternate between athletic training sessions and medical tests (see below), before heading to Divonne-les-Bains on Saturday for the pre-season camp and a first friendly of the summer against Nyon.

On Monday, after meeting up and catching up, the Red and Blacks will attack their first group session of the summer at 9am. This will take place on the hybrid pitch and will be open to the public. A food truck and entertainment in the form of inflatables will be installed alongside the pitch, so that the supporters can make the most of this first day of the 2018/2019 season.

It is worth noting that all of the steps of the first day back, from the players meeting up to the medical exams, as well as the coach's press conference late morning, will be covered on the club's media channels (OGCNICE.com and social media).
