“The whole world, we are going to cross it...” The chorus of the Nice fans rang out across Europe this season. In fact, all the way from Geneva to Lyon, with stops in Amsterdam, Moscow and even Arnhem. The Aiglons travelled - pre-season included - 42 256 kilometers*, the equivalent of a trip around the world!

Lucien Favre shared time with journalists... In holding 106 press conferences, before and after official matches, the coach spent more than a full day in the press room (26 hours 30 minutes).

The collection system put in place by OGC Nice and the Food Bank to help those in need was successful. On average, more than 70 kilos of food items were given, mainly sandwiches, at each home match this season. The two ton mark of food collected was beaten back in November.

By discovering the Allianz Riviera just 3 months and 10 days after his birth, little Lenny is the youngest known fan this season. His “baptism” helped the Aiglons to a win over Montpellier (1-0).

9

For the 3rd consecutive season, number 9 was the most popular in the club shop. Before Super Mario, it was worn in 2015-16 by another fan favourite, Hatem Ben Arfa.

News of OGC Nice also travelled around the world. Visitors to OGCNICE.com came from 222 different countries. We take this opportunity to say hello to the person in the British Virgin Isles, and also to the 13 users in Tajikistan, the 289 visitors from Kuwait, the 833 visitors from Cambodia and not forgetting the 11,754 South Korean visitors.

At the top of the countries with the most online visits to the Gym’s site, we unsurprisingly find France. Two other French speaking countries complete the podium: Lucien Favre’s Switzerland and Tunisia (Bassem Srarfi), in front of Mario Balotelli’s Italy and the USA.

229

This is the number of attempts in the league for the Gym’s leading strikers, Alassane Plea (110) and Mario Balotelli (109). In 38 games, OGC Nice had 487 attempts on goal, finding the back of the net on 53 occasions.

1,200

During the first trip of the season, the Nice fans went for it. At the Amsterdam Arena, 1,200 Nice fans travelled to push their boys on towards the victory. Apart from the trip to the Rocher, this is the club’s best total in 2017-18.

500

Through its various programmes - “Gym Solidaire”, “Employment Forum”, “The Red and Black blood drive”, “Les Mercredis de Lenval”, “Children without pain”, or even “You+I=OGC Nice" - OGC Nice has driven 500 charitable efforts this season. A number that will continue to rise, given that the club - which received the Trophée Séguin 2018 - has decided to create an Endowment Fund.
