Welkom, Eredivisie!

The directors of the largest Dutch clubs were welcomed by OGC Nice for a seminar on Friday.

Every 3 years, the managing directors of the 18 clubs in the top flight are brought together by the Dutch league for seminars across the world. After England and the US (2012; 2015), Eredivisie travelled to the south of Europe this year. Direction: Spain (Real Madrid), then Switzerland (FIFA, UEFA), before finishing in France with OGC Nice.

The Red and Blacks opened their doors to the directors of Ajax, Feyenoord Rotterdam, and even AZ Alkmaar. They first headed to the Allianz Riviera. After discovering the Club’s home ground (sporting areas, VIP, security etc.), the delegation was briefed on the club’s economic model and the experience on offer for fans.

Notepad in the hand, camera at the ready, the directors then visited the Aiglons new nest. Dressing rooms, weights room, pitches, offices...  the new complex inaugurated Iast October was fully revealed to the visitors.

This opportunity to share was followed by a conference on the philosophy and development strategy of OGC Nice.

The conversations continued with a meal on the upper floor, a nice way to end an instructive yet pleasant day.
