72 goals and 2 giants

In 2017-18, OGC Nice found the back of the net on 72 occasions, an average of 1.36 goals per match.

This season, 13 Aiglons managed to get their name on the scoresheet. Amongst them, two names appeared over and over again: Balotelli and Plea.

In fact, between the two of them, they have scored more than 65% of the Gym’s goals, with 26 (8 from the penalty spot) for the Italian, and 21 (1 from the spot) for the former Lyon man (in all competitions).

In Ligue 1, the “Pleatelli“ duo scored 34 goals. A total which places them in 4th place in the standings of the most prolific goal scorers in the club’s history, alongside the lethal duos of the 50's, Fontaine - Ujalki and Foix - Nurenberg.
