Matchday 34 of Ligue 1 Conforama promises two encounters between contenders for Europe. 

48 hours before the clash of the "southerners" between Nice (6th, 47 points) and Montpellier (7th, 46 points) on Sunday at the Allianz Riviera, eyes will be focussed on the west of the country.  

On Friday at 7.30pm, the Beaujoire will play host to an equally important derby, between Nantes (9th, 45 points) and Rennes, who currently lead the race with 47 points (5th).

Just after the final whistle at the Allianz Riviera, Saint-Etienne (8th, 46 pts) will be in action, at home against ESTAC. This matchday 34 will come to a close with a battle between the Girondins de Bordeaux (10th, 43 points) and Paris SG.
