OGC Nice and Racing Club de Strasbourg have agreed in principle a deal for the transfer of Ihsan Sacko. The young forward (20 years old) will have a medical on Friday ahead of his move to the club. 

Loyal to its policy of promoting young players in the same way as it had done last year when Bassem Srarfi signed at the same period, OGC Nice are now on the verge of welcoming another promising element to the squad, Ihsan Sacko. 

Originally from the Paris region, he arrived in Strasbourg in June 2015, the forward who is both quick and probing, played a part in the renaissance of Racing from the National league to the top flight this season.

In 2017-18, he has made 17 appearances in the league, including 8 as a starter, for the surprising promoted side (10th place). Last October, he came on at the end of the Alsaciens’ victory at the Allianz Riviera. On 28 April, it will be in the Red and Black colours that he will feature in the return fixture at the Meinau. He should sign on Friday, providing he satisfies at the medical.
