The relief has (already) celebrated Christmas

Basking in magnificent sunshine, the Gym’s youngsters celebrated Christmas in the club’s new training complex last week. In the company of several pros who didn’t travel to Lille for the Coupe de la Ligue, they began the end of year festivities on the right foot.

250 young footballers and a well-oiled procession: on Wednesday 13, the young Aiglons brought dynamism to the new home of the Red and Blacks in what was a thoroughly enjoyable moment.

In small groups, they were spread out over all of the floors. Familiarising themselves with the club’s new home which was inaugurated on 5 October. They immortalised their entrance into the geode, at the foot of the tree, and with the the Nice squad on the wall behind them. Pictures were taken next to Father Christmas, Mika Le Bihan and Ignatius Ganago in the first team’s dressing room. Then they visited the area reserved for the Academy, ahead of stepping up to the microphone in the press conference room... before finally heading downstairs to wander out onto the pitches

On the small hybrid pitch, our youngsters played against each other under the watchful eyes of their coaches who were joined by Gautier Lloris, Vincent Marcel, Yannis Clémentia and Romain Perraud, as well as Hicham Mahou.

Finally, the day came to an end with a snack, enjoyed on the balcony of the complex. Charles-Ehrmann was behind them and the youngsters were in full action, in a sort of mix of eras but with a clear focus on the future.
