Europa League

15 potential opponents for le gym

The group stage of the UEFA Europa League has ended and OGC Nice are into the Round of 32 of the competition.

Les Aiglons will find out their next opponents when the draw for the Round of 32 is held in Nyon on Monday at 13:00 CET. The only certainty at the moment is that Le Gym will play the first leg at the Allianz Riviera, on Thursday 15 February, and the return leg a week later, on 22 February. Second in their group, Le Gym will take on one of the 11 Europa League group winners (Nice cannot be drawn against Lazio), of one of the side's qualified via the Champions League.

Some of European football's biggest names feature in the list of potential opponents: Arsenal, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid. Le Gym could also be heading East, to the likes of Dynamo Kiev, one of the two Moscow clubs (CSKA or Lokomotiv) or Zenit St Petersburg. Nice could also be reunited with Red Bull Salzburg, the Austrian side that played in last season's European campaign.
