First group session for Wylan Cyprien

The good piece of news this morning came from Wylan Cyprien. Out with a knee injury since March, the Nice midfielder trained back with the first team for the first time on Tuesday morning.

The number 25 (author of 8 goals and 3 assists in L1 last season) progressed to the next stage in his recovery on the last day of October. Although, he will still have to wait a bit longer before making his return to the pitches of the top-flight. “For his return to playing matches, that will depend on how it goes, Lucien Favre reminded us a dozen or so days ago. There will be battles, jumping, the tackles from the opposition... It’s tough to calculate. He will need at least one month of training with the team before playing again, I would think. It will be around about the end of November. We hope that it will be in that ballpark, but there are no guarantees.”
