Huge support

With preparation for their trip to Paris (on Friday at 8.45pm) in full swing, OGC Nice opened its doors to its supporters on Wednesday morning.

“We support the Gym for just one thing, it’s because they send us into dreamland when the team scores. Even when we lose, we still love them.” Red and Black shirt on his back, flag in hand, this young supporter set the mood for the morning.

Their Aiglons have been in difficulty since the start of the month? So the Niçois responded in the only way they know how, by turning out in force: “It’s important that they feel that whatever happens, we will always be behind them, continued another young supporter. As it is the school holidays, we are making the most of it. We came to cheer them on before they leave for Paris. Everyone who came has come to show that they are proud of our club.”

In their dedicated area, to the south of the main pitch, both young and old were in fine voice and made the most of the food-trucks and facilities usually located on the concourse of the Allianz Riviera on match days.

High rhythm on the training pitch

Christophe Jallet and his teammates came out to the pitch around 10am. After various exercises, they set themselves up for drills on a full-size pitch before finishing with drills in a smaller area.

The opportunity for keepers Yannis Clémentia and Yoan Cardinale to show what they are capable of, as well as Wesley Sneijder, who buried a superb shot into the back of the net.

The Aiglons meet the fans

Once the final whistle had been blown, and before finishing their session in the gym, the men in Red and Black went across to greet their supporters. They made the most of the opportunity to thank them for their huge support, two days before their difficult trip to the capital.
