Between 3 weeks to 1 month out for Seri

The day after the defeat against Lazio (1-3) and 48 hours before the visit of Strasbourg, Lucien Favre gave an update on his squad.

Absent against the Italians, Mika Seri "is out for a minimum of between 3 weeks and one month, the coach explained. It's the hamstring. He has felt some pain in training for some while now. We already rested him against Angers, and when he came back, we noticed some slight hesitations in his movement. We did some tests, and there we go. He wanted to play against Lazio, but with this pain, it's impossible. He will get back to training around 5-6 November. He will be back for the match against Caen on 19 November."

"Cyprien has worked hard"

In the process of returning to training, Wylan Cyprien should be back training with the squad "before the end of October" according to the coach. "As far as his return to matches, it will depend how it goes. There will be duals, jumping, tackles from the opponent... It's difficult to calculate. He will need at least one month of training with the squad before playing again, I think. It will be just before the end ofNovember. We hope to see him in these waters, but there are no guarantees. We can't speak too soon. But it is going well, he has worked well, it's very positive."

Lucien Favre also gave an update on Ignatius Ganago, who has been out since the match against Marseille. "He has begun running again, but needs a few more days before joining up with the squad. It will be next week or a little bit after." On the other hand, the Swiss coach didn't give any information about Allan Saint-Maximin's fitness. Missing against Lazio, the youth international participated in training on Friday morning.
