Undergoing an operation in mid-March on his anterior cruciate ligament, Wylan Cyprien took to training pitch for the first time today. 

After a long period of rehab with the medical staff as well as with the CERS in Saint-Raphaël, the midfielder was out running on the training pitches with Jean-Philippe Gilardi (Club Doctor) before beginning the next stage of his recovery. 

"He works hard, explained Lucien Favre. There is work to be done because coming back from a cruciate, is not easy. It's hard to put a time on it, because we can't rush things."

If everything goes well, he will be able to be back training with the team before the end of the year.
