Alassane Plea: "A good trip"

Following the friendly against Servette on Friday (3-1), Alassane Plea was delighted with his return to the pitch. The striker hopes to continue to pick up form as he heads closer to the start of competitive football.

How did the third week of pre-season go?

It was difficult, of course. The legs were feeling a bit heavy. But we worked well, and had some good sessions. Personally, I didn't feel any pain which is the main thing. It was a good trip.

You made your return against Servette.

Yes, it was my first game after 5 months without playing. The morning of the game, we had a training session, so our legs were a bit heavy. But on the whole, it was good. I am very happy to have played without pain, and to progressively get back to my level.

Do you think you will be ready for the Q3 of the Champions League ?

I hope so. I am working towards it in any case. 5 months out is a long time. I need to get my rhythm back. I am working a lot in training, but also off the pitch with the physios. This double header will be very important and we are preparing ourselves for it.
