Scorer of 17 goals in 28 appearances last season, Mario Balotelli will continue with OGC Nice in 2017/18. The Italian signed his contract on Sunday evening.

A key part of the 3rd place finish, idolised by young and by old, the Italian striker has chosen to extend his contract with the Gym. Despite a large amount of interest, the Italian international compromised financially to continue, just as he had always intended to during the break, his adventure in Nice, favouring the sporting aspect and following his heart.

Returning to training with his teammates on Monday, he will be able to prepare for the first European challenge, the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Mario Balotelli sat alongside OGC Nice President, Jean-Pierre Rivère and Managing Director, Julien Fournier, on Sunday evening, as the Italian signed his new contract.

Proud to have been able to convince the superstar of last year and to have seen him grown both on and off the pitch, OGC Nice today savour the happiness of securing his services, and to have him as part of the squad that will enter into the new training ground.
