Each season, more than 60 aspiring footballers are put through their paces in the OGC Nice youth academy. When they’re not on the training pitch, these young footballers can take full advantage of the common rooms, which are dedicated to recovery and free time.
The young boarders live in fully furnished twin rooms. Thoughtfully planned, these rooms offer the kids a calm environment in which to do their homework, relax and rest.
Table-soccer, table-tennis, television, video games and even pétanque: the young Niçois have a number of recreational activities at their disposal - the perfect way to clear their heads and recharge the batteries between school classes and training.
Changing rooms, amenities, jacuzzis... The youth academy staff insist on the maintenance and cleanliness of these areas.
A healthy and varied diet is an essential component of the performances of an elite athlete. The young, growing footballers need to fulfil their energetic and nutritional needs. To ensure that they do, the youth academy’s catering is provided by Sogeres, who supply thousands of meals daily to a number of prestigious French clients (Canal+, Bouygues Telecom, Air France...)
The Parc des Sports Charles Ehrmann
Pitches, running tracks and indoor gymnasiums; this major complex in the west of the city is a veritable multi-sport hub. A regular host of national sporting events, the Parc des Sports Charles-Ehrmann is also the headquarters for OGC Nice, its academy and training pitches.
The Stade de la Plaine du Var
Inaugurated in 2011, the Francs-Archers complex boasts two latest-generation artificial pitches. It is not only the training base for apprentice Aiglons, but also the home ground for the academy’s teams, all the way up to the reserves.
New training centre and youth academy
From 2017, the young Aiglons will have a state-of-the-art training centre to call home. From the youngest debutants through to the first team, the current and future stars of OGC Nice, no matter the age, will work towards future success in these facilities.
